Meet the Front Office
 
 
Bonny, Office Manager

Welcome to the Merxbauer-Maier Dental website! I am Bonny Merxbauer, Dr. Merxbauer's wife. I am so glad you are interested in our office. I believe you will find our office is unique in the way we care for our patients. Our doctors and our team have the motto: If you care for the patients, everything else will take care of itself. Below you will meet our team. I feel truly blessed to work with such an outstanding team of dental professionals.

I work in the business office at Merxbauer-Maier Dental. I graduated magna come laude from the University of South Dakota with a business management degree. I was honored to be chosen as the outstanding business school senior.

Dr. Merxbauer and I have been blessed to be married since 1986. We have five wonderful children, three son in laws, one daughter in law and nine grandchildren.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping with my daughters, traveling and watching my son play football at CHS.

Miranda, Office Manager

 I am Dr. Merxbauer's daughter and Dr. Maier's wife. I have worked for the Dental Center my whole life. I adore the dental profession! My favorite part is helping patients fall in love with their smile, while maintaining their health.

I graduated from Aberdeen Central High, then continued my education and graduated from Augustana University in 2013. I finished my Masters of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University in the fall of 2017. You will most commonly see me in the front office or hear me on the phone!

I have two handsome sons and two beautiful daughters. My oldest son, just started Kindergarten at Roncalli. I also have three dogs, a Yorkie, Drahthaar and elderly Beagle. I love summer outdoor activities and baking with my children.


 
 
Lori

I am a South Dakota native. I have worked in the dental field since 1989! While creating a comfortable environment, I try to go above and beyond the expectations of helping and understanding the patients with all their dental and financial needs. My husband and I have five children and five grandchildren. Sara

Hello! I'm Sara. I became part of the team in October of 2013. I love meeting new people and creating a bond with all of our patients.

I grew up in Huron, SD and moved to Aberdeen when I was 13 years old. My husband, Josh and I have been together since 2007 and we got married in 2015. We have a gorgeous baby girl and a husky puppy that keeps us very busy. In my spare time I enjoy crafting and outdoors activities.

 
  
Linda

Hello, my name is Linda! I graduated from NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND and have been a dental assistant since 1986. I am now a front office associate and have been enjoying this position since 2020. I am licensed as an expanded functions dental assistant and in taking radiographs. I really enjoy working with all ages of patients!

My husband and I have been married since 1988. We have three grown son, two of which are married and the youngest graduated in 2019 from college. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family!

Hi, I'm Bonnie, Here at Merxbauer-Maier Dental you can call me BJ! I grew up in Britton, SD & graduated from LATI. I have worked in the dental field since 2007.

My husband and I have been married since 1989 & have been blessed with 2 beautiful children.

Hello my name is Shayna! I am from a small town in North Dakota. I have been in customer service since I was 14 years old. I moved to Aberdeen in 2018. I worked for Vitalant, formally United Blood Services, as a donor care specialist before beginning my new and wonderful journey at Merxbauer-Maier Dental in 2019.

Melissa

Hi, my name is Melissa! I graduated from USD with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I really enjoy working with patients of all ages and do my best to make my patients feel comfortable and relaxed while meeting their individual dental needs. I am licensed to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. I have been working at the Dental Center since May 2006. 

I am married to a farmer. We raise cattle and grow crops which include wheat, corn, and soybeans. We have four children, 3 boys and one girl. In my spare time, I enjoy running, volunteering locally, and attending our children's activities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Mallory

Hi, I'm Mallory. I graduated in May of 2011 from USD with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I am qualified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia as well as clean teeth, diagnose gum disease, and take radiographs.

My husband and I got married in the fall of 2012. He is an auto mechanic here in Aberdeen. We have two children who keep us on our toes. We enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and attending sporting events.
 
 
 
   
  

Kayla

Hi, my name is Kayla! I am originally from Leola, SD. I graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in 2012 with degrees in Dental Hygiene and Liberal Arts and I have been an active Dental Hygienist since. I am certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia, as well as prevent, diagnose and treat gum disease.

My husband and I got married July of 2013. We have three children that keep us on our toes. In our spare time we enjoy spending time with our family and friends, camping, fishing, and hunting.

 


Laurie 

Hi! My name is Laurie! I have been blessed to meet and serve so many wonderful patients since I started in dentistry  in 1984. I worked as a dental assistant first and in 1991 obtained my dental hygiene degree from NDSCS. I have taken many continuing education classes over the years. Dentistry is an exciting field that is ever changing and advancing and its fun to keep up with all these new technologies. My favorite part of the day is all the great people I see; both patients and co workers. They are my Smile Makers!

My husband, Bill and I have two grown daughters. We live on a farm where Bill raises corn and soybeans. I love to camp, fish, garden, walk and read in my spare time.

Hi, My name is Judy. I graduated from Argosy University in Eagan, MN with an AA in Dental Hygiene. I am qualified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. 

I am married to a farmer. We raise cattle, corn, soybeans and alfalfa. In my spare time I enjoy taking long walks, running and spending time with my family and friends.

Hi, my name is Lauren! I graduated from LATI in Watertown in May of 2011 and have been with this office ever since! I am licensed as an expanded functions dental assistant, able to take radiographs, and administer
nitrous oxide.

Hello, my name is Brooke! I was born and raised in Britton, SD. I graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, MN in May of 2007. I am licensed in expanded functions and in taking radiographs. I previously worked as a dental assistant in Fargo, ND for 6 years. I love helping people and thoroughly enjoy my profession!

My husband and I got married August of 2017 and have two children. When I'm not working I enjoy fishing, golfing, traveling, shopping and spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Sherise. I graduated from LATI in Watertown, SD in May of 2014. I took my DANB in the fall of 2014 and now I am a certified Dental Assistant. I am licensed in expanded functions, nitrous oxide, and radiology. I absolutely love every aspect of being a Dental Assistant.

My husband and I have been married since 2008 and we have three wonderful children.

Hello, My name is Roxann. I joined the Merxbauer-Maier Dental team in 2020, as a certified registered dental assistant. I have been enjoying this call since 2016. I have the privilege of working with my wonderful patients and co-workers during this time. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, traveling and always shopping.
